Overview

I am a 26 year old single mother of two boys. I haven't attended school in 7 years but I am now attending to get my certificate in Behavioral Health. I am currently working part time at Pima Community College Bookstore.

My goals are to receive my certificate in Behavioral Health because I feel I can be of great help to the people of my community. I have been through a lot of hard times whether it be financial stability or relationships between family and friends. I have hit rock bottom and I know the feeling of not being able to get by so I feel with my personal experience I can relate to the people I help.

I need a laptop for school because a lot of my class work is online. I have to travel to work, school, and home on the bus and never really have the time to stop at the library to get my assignments done.

Meeting this need will help me succeed in achieving my goals and get my assignments in on time and it would be less of a hassle to head for the school library and rent a computer. I feel that I rush through the work that I turn in. I would like to have my own laptop so I can work at my own pace and put more effort into the work.

Luci is working through Arizona @ Work Pima County to attend her Behavioral Health training at Pima Community College. She is currently a student and is working part time around her school schedule. She has worked hard to reach this point. By obtaining a laptop, it will make her schedule a whole lot easier to manage. Her free time is limited.
