Overview

I am a single mother of three girls. I am currently unable to work due to various health issues, one being that I have an autoimmune disease that I have been battling for 8 years. My illness is definitely challenging, thus, making it hard to provide some basic essentials for my girls.

My goals are to be able to provide myself and my daughters with some basic essentials that will help us get through the school year successfully. Furthermore, because illness hinders me from being employed full-time; I am receiving assistance with trying to find part-time low-impact employment in order to have a steady income.

My daughters are in need of new uniforms for the school year and other clothing items for the winter months. I would also like to purchase some toiletry items for our home. Lastly, I would like assistance with bus fare.

Meeting this need will help me with transporting my girls back and forth to school, especially as the months get colder and it will get dark sooner. As a mother, I take pride in being able to provide my girls with the things they need to feel safe, secure and well taken care of; I believe purchasing new uniforms, winter clothing items, and toiletries will allow me to do just that for my girls.
