Marissa is now a licensed CRSW!!!

Amazing news! Marissa passed her CRSW test! Feb 21, 2019
Marissa's validator, Heather, shared some incredible news: Marissa took her Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) test and passed!! Her next step is sending in her application. Thanks to everyone who helped with Marissa's exam fee :)
Overview
I am a recovery coach in training and have completed all credentials needed to take the CRSW exam. I chose this path to support others who need help in their recovery, as I have children in the early stages of recovery.
My goals are to help and support people and families in their recovery from substance use disorder or addiction. I want to help families navigate their situations and connect them with the right resources. This is something that I know would have helped me so much.
I need help covering the cost of taking the CRSW exam. This fee will let me take the exam and achieve my goal of working as a recovery coach.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to offer my support, strength and gratitude to others who are seeking help in recovery. I will be able to use my own experiences to support families who are struggling with a loved one's addiction.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Marissa fund this need.

I have had the pleasure of working with Marissa in her volunteer role at Safe Harbor Recovery Center for just over a year. She is passionate about her work in recovery and will be a successful CRSW. Marissa has the compassion and dedication needed to bring hope to individuals effected by substance use disorder.
About Heather
I am a CRSW and currently the center manager at Safe Harbor Recovery Center. I lost my brother 4 years ago at the age of 33 to SUD, after his 6 year struggle. My hope is to help people find and maintain recovery by connecting them with the necessary supports and resources to do so.
