I am a formerly incarcerated woman striving to become a recovery coach and peer advocate.
My goal is to help others with their recovery.
I need help paying for my Peer Advocate/Recovery Coach certification. I also need winter clothing: a winter coat and boots.
Meeting this need will help me get a job and go back to becoming a productive member and working person.

I have known Christina through the Women's Project. We are an alternative to pre-trial detention and support women in their needs to fight their cases outside of incarceration. Since I've known Christina, she has been motivated, kind, and works hard to uplift herself. This financial gift would support her in getting back on her feet in order to get a job that would further empower others in difficult situations.
