Overview
I am a father who has stage 2 throat cancer. I'm raising my youngest son. I enjoy listening to all genres of music. I used to play a trumpet in a band.
My ambition is to beat cancer so I can see my son graduate from high school in 10 years. I also hope to take my son to Disney World one day.
I need a computer to help my son in school. Sometimes my illness prevents me from leaving my house. My pain can sometimes be so severe that I can't move.
Meeting this need will help me because my son will be able to complete his homework for school. By having a computer at home, I can then also help him with completing some of his homework, even when I'm not well or in pain.
