I'm healthy and starting a grocery business; $200 will let me get started!

I've recovered from surgery and want to use a grocery business to support my family. $200 will help me buy the inventory I need to get started.

Overview

I am a 24 year old mother of three. I have a small grocery business and my husband does not have a job. For nine years I had an injury called fistula that I got from giving birth.

My goals are to support my family with my grocery business. I had surgery to fix my fistula and now I am healthy instead of hurting like I was for so long. I learned business skills from an organization called Beyond Fistula and now I can run my business well.

I need $200 to buy inventory for my grocery business. Once we have good items in the store, people will start coming regularly and I will be making money to support my family.

Meeting this need will help me because I have the skills and motivation to move forward. This need is the only thing standing in the way of me supporting my family.

Rukia completed the business training module with us after she recovered from fistula surgery. She has amazing tenacity despite living with her fistula for nine years. Since her husband doesn't have a good income, she feels immense responsibility to meet her three children's needs. Rukia will have the support of Beyond Fistula as she sets up her grocery business. I have no doubt she will succeed because I have seen her drive and her love for her children.
