Training to work in advanced manufacturing; safety equipment will help me find a job.

After training at JARC, I'm ready to work in manufacturing, but the jobs require uniforms and steel-toed boots. I've been underemployed for 2 years, and a new job will let me support my family.

Overview

I am a 42-year-old who has been underemployed for 2 years. I am working part time to support myself but can’t make ends meet. I am currently a student at the Jane Addams Resource Corporation to learn machine operating and to find full time employment. I am doing everything I can to make positive changes in my career.

My goals are to establish a career in the manufacturing industry. Once I complete my training and find a position, I will be able to support my family.

In order to apply for jobs, I need required safety gear. This includes steel toed boots and work uniforms.

Having the proper gear will help me overcome employment barriers and kick start my career!

I have known Philip for the past few months. I helped him apply for public assistance and now I want to help him get the gear he needs. He is a very motivated and hardworking person. I am sure that he will continue to be successful in the CNC program. Your support will help him to reach his goals.
