Overview
I am a 24 year old orphan and mother. When I was 14 I developed a fistula after a prolonged and obstructed labor. After this, my husband abused me and eventually left because of the condition.
My goals are to start my own farming business. I have learned farming skills and business skills from an organization called Beyond Fistula. Now I want to earn an income to support my family.
I need $300 to lease a plot of land and buy seeds to start farming.
Meeting this need will help me because I have the skills and the ambition to farm and earn an income to support my family. The only thing standing in my way is the money to start. Now that I am healed from my fistula I want to give my children a good start in life.

Esther has an incredibly strong spirit. At a very young age she developed a fistula and her husband left her. In our program I have seen her tenacity and drive to build a life beyond fistula. She will have the support of Beyond Fistula moving forward as she heals.
