Help me buy a sewing machine for my daughter so she can earn money by tailoring!

My daughter has been through so much at a young age. I'm struggling to support her, but she has been learning to run a tailoring business.

Overview

I am a mother of a 15 year old named Doricah. She was pregnant and had a difficult labor. The baby did not survive and afterwards she had pain and was leaking - we learned she had a fistula. This year she got surgery and now her fistula is healed.

Doricah's goals are to earn money by tailoring. She is single, her father has died, and I am struggling to support her on my own. She wants to earn money to support herself through school.

Doricah needs $250 to buy a sewing machine and fabric. She wants to sew clothes and tote bags to sell in our village. She is learning tailoring skills from an organization called Beyond Fistula.

Meeting this need will help my daughter because it will allow her to earn money for her school fees and finish her education. Before she got pregnant she was working in school and she wants to keep going to have a good future. All she needs is fabric and a sewing machine to earn money.

I have known Sarah and Doricah through our tailoring program. Doricah has been learning this trade since she healed from a fistula. Despite being only 15, she has been through so much hardship, and it has made her serious and driven about her priority - school. I see her motivation to graduate shine through in everything she does, and I have no doubt that if she can meet this need and sell her tailoring services, she will put herself through school.
