Overview

I am a sixty-something year-old woman with a passion for social activism. I love to see people having their needs met. I receive Social Security income, and it hinders me from making major purchases after bills are paid.

My goals are to improve myself every year; I set goals for myself every year. I have written and submitted for publication a fiction story to Covenant Books, who agreed to publish it. The release date will be announced soon. It is a story about a woman who becomes homeless after losing her job and changes her life by using her talent as a seamstress/fashion designer to a celebrity. I see myself in her story as a woman who has had similar experience and has the goal to become a wealthy woman so that I can give back to other women.

I need a set dentures because I've had oral surgery. Right now I am having trouble swallowing food.

Meeting this need will help me because, first, I will be able to eat comfortably without choking. Second, to help me improve my self-image. I will be making public appearances regarding my book, and self-image is a vital part of feeling confident.
