I'm a disabled mom of a high school daughter. Furnishings will help us manage through.

Overview

I am a single mother who is disabled and have very limited finances to support my family and pay bills. We live in low income housing complex. Due to my limited finances and having no additional financial support, I am unable to purchase furniture or a kitchen table for our family. I have a 17 year old daughter who attends an alternative school to obtain her high school diploma.

My goal is to provide suitable furniture where we can sit and a table to eat as family. Our plans is for my daughter to obtain her high school diploma and be able to obtain employment.

My family is in need of at least couch/chair and small kitchen table with chairs. Currently we sit on the floor to eat our meals and on milk crates in the living room to spend family time and watch television together.

Meeting this need will help because we will have a comfortable living space. Being blessed to receive these items will alleviate some of the stress and embarrassment when people come to our home. My daughter would have an area where she can comfortably sit and complete her school work and our family would be more self-sufficient in our living area.
