Overview
I am a 55-year-old man who has been in a permanent supportive housing program for two years. I was homeless prior to my enrollment in my housing program for 3+ years. I feel more relaxed and more like a member of this world, now that have I have housing.
My goal is to start my own painting and maintenance business.
In order to start my own business, I need to pay off my parking tickets I accrued prior to being homeless.
Once my parking tickets are paid off, I can get a license and buy a truck that will serve as the base of my business. I will utilize my vehicle to advertise my business and get to the clients I work with.

I have been working with this participant for about 9 months. He has been with our agency for two years, and was referred to us through the All Chicago homeless system. The participant and I continue to work on his housing and employment goals. He is excited to start his own paint and maintenance business, and is currently laying the groundwork for that venture and recruiting clients
