Overview
I’m a mother of seven children. We live in a one-bedroom, corrugated- zinc house - without access to electricity or clean water. My husband and I plant and sell vegetables.
I want my kids to have the opportunities for education that I never got. I want to be able to earn a better living, while still being able to look after my children. I would like to to earn enough income to meet our basic needs and send all my kids to school. My kids deserve access to the opportunities that my parents did not provide.
I need to earn my way out of poverty. So, I need funds to help me open my own small business - selling charcoal and essential groceries in my neighborhood. There is a definite demand for this.
By opening a small kiosk / business next to my home I can earn money while still being present for my children. The money I will earn will help me provide a better life for my children and send them to school.
