Overview

I am a 33 year old orphan, mother of one, and widow. I have lost six children so my in-laws say I am cursed and are cruel to me. But this year I had a baby girl.

My goals are to open a grocery business and earn money to support myself and my baby girl. Right now I rely on assistance from the church because I can't grow anything on the piece of land where I live.

I need $500 for inventory and to rent a space.

Meeting this need will help me because I am motivated to give my child a good life and all that is standing in my way is the money to start my business. I have suffered so much before finally having this child and I want to move forward from all that with her.

Sarah has suffered incredible hardship. She is one of the strongest people I've ever worked with, to survive the loss of six infants and still have hope. Sarah is driven to provide a good life for her little girl now and I have faith she will do just that. We will continue to check in with her as she gets her grocery business off the ground and builds a better life than she was dealt.
