Overview
I am a hard-working student with big dreams. My favorite subject is science, and I'm looking forward to earning my college degree. My parents did not finish high school - so I would be the first in my family to go to college.
My goals are to go to college and become a nurse. I want to tend to those in my community that fall ill, and I want to provide medical services to impoverished members of my community - who don't have access to care.
I need financial assistance to help me get back and forth to school / bus fare to go to school. I also need a bed and mattress so that I no longer have to sleep on the floor.
Meeting this need will help me because with a bed and mattress I can get a good night's rest and focus on my education. Meeting this need will also help to ensure that I can attend each of my classes so I can complete my education.

Isata has come a long way from not attending school / hawking on the streets. She has been in our program for over 9 years. She started learning late. As the first person in her family to almost complete high school, it would be wonderful if we could help her make her dreams come true.
