Overview
I am a 38-year-old single mother and fistula survivor. After three years of symptoms of leaking urine, I was finally able to get surgery to repair it at Gynocare Women’s and Fistula Hospital. I completed a tailoring workshop and was hired to be a tailoring instructor with Beyond Fistula where I worked for around eight years. I currently work at home sewing clothes to make a living and raise my child.
My goal is to continue to make and sell clothes so I can support my child.
I need $400 to buy a sewing machine and fabric so I can launch my tailoring business.
Meeting this need will help me because I need to make money to feed and clothe my child. Being a single mother is very hard but with a sewing machine and more fabric, it’ll be easier to make money to support my family.

Ann is a strong and hardworking woman who just wants to provide for her child. She is a fistula survivor and lived with awful symptoms for three years until she was able to get a surgery to repair it. She worked as an amazing tailoring instructor for Beyond Fistula for eight years and now works at home, sewing clothes and raising her child. I am confident that Ann will succeed when she receives a sewing machine and fabrics.
