Overview
I am a recovering alcoholic who been sober for five years. I been homeless and I finally got an apartment for me and my daughter. I’m currently in school, working towards my degree and a full time job.
My goals are to complete my LPN (licensed practical nurse) program to secure a full time job so I can take better care of my daughter and to become a peer support coach to support women in their recovery journey.
I need household and kitchen items such as linens, dishes, and household appliances to set up my apartment.
Meeting this need will help me because I will have the necessities for my first apartment. My daughter will finally know what it feels like to live without having dinner at soup kitchens.
