Overview
While the landlord let me delay, I need to pay for my security deposit. Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to save money to pay to get my car fixed and ease some of the financial stress on our family.
I am most proud of my children and myself for not giving up even though we have encountered numerous barriers. I have been working very hard to provide for my family and to find a full time job. I am a single mom who is struggling to make ends meet but I continue to look forward to a better future. My goal is to obtain a full time job and provide a better future for my family.
My current situation is that I have not been able to find a full time job. My family and I recently moved into a comfortable apartment but cannot afford to pay for the security deposit and a small refrigerator. To make matters worse, my car broke down two weeks ago and I need to fix it so I can continue to look for employment. This is my best solution because it will get me closer to my goal of obtaining a full time job and providing for my family.
* You may have noticed that Rosa's "Needed By" date has changed. In the spirit of the holiday season, Benevolent has extended all December dates through the first of the year.
I am from Mexico, and I have been in the U.S. for 20 years. I live with my three daughters, two of whom are in high school. I am a great cook and I am the happiest during the autumn season because it is not too warm or too cold.

Rosa was referred to me by her daughters' therapist about ten months ago.
I think meeting this need is important because Rosa and her family will have a safe and permanent home. Meeting this need will allow Rosa to be able to afford to fix her car so she can continue looking for a full time job.
Rosa is a very kind person and wants the best for her family. She has had a rough road but she is working very hard to provide a better future for her children.
