I am so grateful to Benevolent and the donors who took the time out of their busy life to stop and think about what someone else needs. Donating is something that comes from the heart and I am filled with joy that Samantha will be able to continue to improve and work on her life goals. Thank you!
Overview
I need a laptop so I will be able to finish my assignments on time. Meeting this need will help me because I could stay home and bond with my son while I do my homework. My goal is to finish my GED and go on to nursing, which would be a better paying job to provide more for me and my son.
My current situation is that I am young single mother who is trying to achieve my goal to make life better.
I'm from Jamaica and now I live in Evanston. I have a son who means the world to me and I would love to further my education to make life better for us as a single mom. I'm most proud of my son just to hear him use his words more.
I am a hard working woman who never gives up on my dreams. I'm happiest when I'm around people I love. Also, something interesting about me is that I like dancing, going to school, and learning more.
