I'm furthering my education and I need work gear to successfully seek employment in manufacturing

I'm excited to start my CNC career! Meeting this need will show an employer that I'm ready to work & have the tools I need to start right away.

Overview

I need gear to help me get started in my CNC Career. This includes steel toed boots, safety glasses, precision measuring instruments, and transportation assistance.

My goal is to become a CNC Operator. Meeting this need will help me because it will show an employer that I am ready to work and that I have the tools I need to start right away. I am excited to start my new career in manufacturing and obtaining this equipment will give me a head start.

My current situation is that I am unemployed, attending a full time training program, and making ends meet is a difficult task right now. I do have the support of my family but outside support would also be much appreciated.

I'm from Chicago, IL. 

I'm most proud of going back to school at the age of 45. I have a wife of 21 years, 2 girls, 2 boys, and 4 grandchildren. I'm happiest when I'm with my family.

Something interesting about me is that I am a motivational speaker for troubled youth.

We met when Victor was accepted into JARC's CNC program in September 2013. I think meeting this need is important because it will prepare Victor for his first job in manufacturing and as a CNC Operator. It will show employers that Victor is serious about his career.

Victor has an amazing attitude and energy about him. He lights up the training center when he walks in early every morning. Students seek him out for technical questions and life advice. Victor is seen as a leader in our training program and I am 100% certain he will find a job and be successful!
