Thank You from Erica Mar 26, 2014
Erica hand wrote a thank you note and sent it to the Benevolent's Detroit office to share with all her supporters. It reads,
Thank you very much for the donations. My children and I appreciate it very much. [The support] came right when we needed it the most and was put to good use. So again, thank you so very much!
Sincerely,
Erica & Family
Overview
I'm from Detroit, Michigan.
I'm most proud of raising three children by myself. We are all very close and always together, laughing and joking. Education is very important in our family and sticking together. I am a very fun loving mother who wants only the best for my children. I'm happiest when my kids are happy. I instill God into their lives and know that all things through Him are possible.
Something interesting about me is that I love to paint pictures.
My goal is to find a job to support my children and show them a positive role model. After their father died it has been hard on all of us. Me getting a job and lifting us out of the situation we are in will give them hope and encouragement.
I need two months bus tickets and winter clothes for my family.
Meeting this need will help me because having bus fare for two months will get me through the winter months and allow me to catch the bus in search of employment. Winter clothes will come in handy for my family because in us waiting for the bus we will be warm and comfortable.
My current situation is that I am currently out of work and in need of a job. In order to get to interviews and get to the library to use the computer I need to take the bus. Before the weather turned I was able to walk or get a ride with friends but because the weather causes delays in everyone's schedule, I am unable to find a reliable carpool.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Erica fund this need.

I met Erica a month ago when she was added on my caseload. I think meeting this need is important because her children can take the bus to school and be warm while they wait for their pick-up during the winter months. It's also important Erica gets bus tickets because she too can take the bus in search of employment.
