Overview
I have an opportunity to be hired in January to drive dump trucks. I eventually want to own my own truck one day as well. Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to take care of myself and my family. It's keeping me on a positive note. When you have things taken away from you (kids, life, etc), it's depressing and the next thing you know, you're in trouble. I want to live life with all positive from now on. No more negativity.
I was locked up from May-November. After getting out of prison, I realized the only thing I've done is driving trucks. Driving trucks is my livelihood. My driving skills pay my bills. It's something I'm good at and something I love to do.
I'm originally from Kannapolis, NC. I moved back here from NY a couple of years ago. Something interesting about me is I like to hunt, cook, bowl, and play chess. I'm happiest when I'm with my daughter. I'm most proud of my kids. One just graduated with her bachelors degree. I have two daughters and I'm proud to be a part of the older daughter's life. I would love to get to know my youngest child, but she's now been adopted and I can't see her. If I don't do anything else right for the rest of my life, I want God in my life and to be a good son, and daddy.

I've known Fred for a few years, I met him through a former acquaintance. I think meeting this need is important because he is trying to get his life back together and this could be an important step to him being on the right track. Fred is a real good guy with a real good heart and wants to help people and better himself.
