A Message from Frank: Apr 30, 2014
I just want to express my most sincere appreciation for helping me raise the money I need for my naturalization/citizenship document. It overcomes a major obstacle that is interfering with my career search and professional development goals. I hope that one day I have the opportunity and resources to help someone in financial need.
Overview
I need financial assistance in obtaining a copy of my naturalization certificate. This includes the filing fee. Meeting this need will help me because I'd be able to qualify for a WIA grant which would give me vocational training.
My goal is to become an IT professional. I am looking into a program to get certification in IT Support and Security. To enroll in that program, I am asking to provide my naturalization certificate which was lost in a move.
My current situation is I live in a hotel with my elderly mother who suffers from dementia. My sister who is in Bulgaria is supporting us, but money is especially tight. I am at The Cara Program to find employment and to expand my opportunities.
I'm from Sofia, Bulgaria; now I live in Chicago.
Somthing interesting about me is my passion for science and technology. I'm happiest when I feel healthy, and I'm most proud of my amazing mind.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Frank fund this need.

We met when Frank started the program in January 2014. Frank has been unemployed for two years and is now adamantly working with The Cara Program to obtain employment.
I think meeting this need is important because Frank is very interested in entering the IT field. Not only is it important to assist him in seeing making his dreams come true, but this is a generously paying field and it would make it possible for him to support his mother and himself in the city.
