Charles wanted to say, "Thank You!" Jun 23, 2014
I just received my transit passes and am really excited. I can finally travel to my GED classes without stress, and can now also focus on applying for more jobs. Thank you so much!
Overview
I am 48 and currently homeless, but continually work temporary labor positions. I am also going to school to obtain my GED.
My goals are to finish my GED, get a full-time position, and find housing.
I need transportation funding so I can attend the 12 weeks of classes I need in order to be ready to take my GED at the end of the summer.
Meeting this need will help me because right now I am in and out of work due to class time conflicts, so I'm having to drain the little savings I have in order to pay for transportation to get across the city to the classes I signed up for. I know that once I get my GED there will be many more job opportunities. This is just a stepping stone until I am able to further my education even more.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Charles fund this need.
