I need to replace my stove & refrigerator after my home was burglarized while away

Before I can focus on getting my nail technician license to increase my income, I need a refrigerator and stove to provide for my children.

Overview

I am a single mother of six. I graduated high school and got started on my career as a nail technician. I've worked in this industry ever since. I would love to get my nail technician license as this will allow me to increase my pay and own my own business.

My goal is to get my nail technician license so I can accept a job at a salon. Being licensed will allow me to charge more for my services, build a larger clientele base and earn more so I can grow into other opportunities. I have already received requests from several salons to come work for them but I am not able to do so because I am not licensed.

Before I can focus on getting my nail technician license, I need a refrigerator and stove. I recently had to move due to my last house being burglarized and all the appliances stolen, including my refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer, while I was away. The new house I moved to did not come with appliances so I'm currently storing food in a cooler and cooking it in the microwave.

Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to stop focusing on how I'm going to get a stove and fridge with my limited income and focus on going to school to get my license so I can increase my pay and better provide for my family.

I met Lisa when her child was added to my case load. Lisa was away from her home when it was burglarized and all the appliances stolen. This was a major setback for her as she has a large family she is caring for. Her income does not allow her to purchase these much needed major appliances all at once. She is working on saving what she can to do so but as time goes on storing food in a cooler and cooking it in a microwave has been causing her to waste food and money and is not healthy for her children. A new stove and refrigerate would really help her refocus her attention on getting her nail technician license.
