Overview

I am a 38 year old single mother of three children. I will be staring CNA classes soon and could use a bit of support for my family while I go back to school.

My goals are to finish school and become a CNA within the next year. I want to do this to better my future and the future of my family.

I need clothing and beds for my children.

While I am going back to school and on a fixed income I am unable to purchase all the things needed to make my house a home. Meeting this need will help me because my children will be prepared for the next school year and I won't have to stress about how to purchase the things they need.

I met Lisa when her children were placed on my caseload. She is headed back to school but needs additional support to care for her family during this time. I am working with her to identify resources that can help reduce the stress associated with going back to school and caring for a family at the same time. Beds and clothes is the first barrier we are working on overcoming to help Lisa.
