Overview

My name is Ebonie and I am 32 years old and a proud mother of two. I attended Wayne State for two years until I became homeless, living at COTS, and now I work at The Empowerment Plan.

My short-term goal is to purchase my first house that we are currently renting. My long term goal is to continue working at The Empowerment Plan and staying employed so that I can provide for my family.

I need financial assistance to help pay for my son's school uniform, shoes, clothes and school supplies. In addition, I need help paying for diapers for my new born daughter.

Meeting these needs will help me because I am now coming back to work because of maternity leave and I am falling behind on payments and bills. I want to make sure that my children are prepared for school and are able to thrive in that environment. This will help me be the best mother I can be without having constant stress about money.

She constantly has a smile and spreads her positive energy to everyone around her. Not only is she an amazing and intelligent woman, but an expert seamstress, and loving mother.
