Overview

I am a 61 year old Registered Nurse, I've been nursing for over 20 years. Due to losing my job in 2012 I lost my house and was left homeless. This year I completed Inspiration Corporation’s employment program and am trying to go back into the work force.

My goals are to go back into the field of nursing as a full time Registered Nurse with the ultimate goal to regain my permanent housing. I hope to eventually give back to all of the agencies who have helped me thus far.

In order for me to go back into my field I need to renew my CPR and Nursing licensure. Receiving this would put me one step closer to my goal of employment.

Meeting this need will help me because as of right now I am ineligible to work many places due to my non-renewed licensure status. I am grateful for whatever amount you would be able to give, thank you.

I have been working with Rose in employment services here at Inspiration Corporation; it's a 4-week job readiness workshop. In the program, you’re assigned a career specialist who works with you to get you ready to find long term employment. I have worked with Rose on her employment goals and now I want to help her pay for her license and CPR training. I feel that with Rose's experience she would easily gain employment and with help from Benevolent I hope to help her get one step closer to her goals.
