Debra from Chicago, IL

I'm studying counseling & mental health services. I need a laptop for my homework.

I need a laptop to successfully juggle my work, school, and internship responsibilities. Without one, it's hard to complete everything I need to do.

I am a 49 year old continuing education student at Kennedy-King. I am majoring in Addiction Studies and minoring in Music. I ultimately hope to graduate and give back to my community. I am currently interning at Harmony, Hope and Healing, working with women and children improving their mental and emotional health.

When I graduate I hope to open up a shelter for women and children, running empowering programs that provide necessary resources for their financial, educational and emotional growth.

I need a laptop to help continue my education. Because I do not own a home computer I have to complete most of my homework on campus. Working part-time and going to school full-time makes this travel tedious and overwhelming.

Having a laptop will help me organize and simplify my busy life. I will be able to accomplish my class assignments more effectively and reduce the stress of constantly returning to campus after hours.

I know Debra through the supportive services program here at Inspiration Corporation. She is a hard-working, giving, inspirational individual and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. It would be tremendous if Benevolent could help her achieve her goals.
