Adan from Tucson, AZ

In college & working full-time. A laptop will help me balance my job with my studies!

I'm putting in the hard work to graduate! I need a laptop to complete my electrical utilities coursework during my demanding work week.

I am a 23-year-old student and I work full-time. I am working hard to complete a certificate in Electrical Utility Technology. This is my first year in college.

My goals are to complete the Get Into Energy program and to find a job as a lineman with a local electrical company.

I have a demanding work week, and the library near me has limited hours for me to use their computers. A laptop will allow me to study and put in the hard work needed to enter my new career.

Meeting this need will help me balance my full-time job with my studies. I will no longer have to rely on the library's limited hours or fall behind in my studies because I cannot access the required technology. This will be a huge step toward my career goals!

I have known Adan for 6 months. I am his advisor for the Get Into Energy program. I work with him on setting his educational goals and applying for jobs. He has already completed one semester of the program, and it would be great for him to have the laptop to help with his coursework.
