Mike from Tucson, AZ

Working full-time to support my education! I need a laptop to do my schoolwork.

I need a laptop to help me succeed and complete my Electrical Utility Technology certificate. I will then transfer to a university for my Bachelors.

Overview

I am a 27 year-old student. I have been in and out of college for the last couple of years. I am currently a student in the Get Into Energy Program.

My goals are to become an engineer and to not be in debt from my schooling. I want to find a good job to take care of myself and to help my family currently living in Haiti.

I need a laptop to help me succeed and complete my certificate program. I currently work full-time and my work schedule consistently changes, so having a laptop will help me do my course work at home and on my breaks at work.

Meeting this need will help me because I can finally complete my certificate in Electrical Utility Technology and transfer to a university to earn my Bachelor's degree.

I have known Mike for six months working as his advisor for the Get Into Energy Program. He is a full-time student and works full-time. Getting a laptop will help him be successful in his classes and earn the certificate earlier than expected, so he can transfer to the university.
