Overview
I am a 48-year old student going back to school to earn my certificate in electrical utility and natural gas technology, which will help me obtain a job.
My goals are to complete my certificates this year and find employment with a local utility company. Having a permanent job will help me earn a stable income so I can support myself and plan for my future.
I need a laptop to complete my coursework for the program. Being able to work towards my certificate at home will let me study around my work schedule rather than having to use the local library to study for limited hours.
Meeting this need will help me because currently I have to go to the College campus or the local library to complete my schoolwork and their hours do not always work with my work schedule. This will help me be successful in my studies.
