Overview
Hello. My Name is Brendan and I am currently staying at the Lincoln Park Community Shelter (Chicago), an outstanding interim housing program. And after a rigorous selection process, I am enrolled in the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Program at Jane Addams Resource Corporation, a workforce agency whose mission is to train folks in the technical skills necessary to obtain successful careers in the manufacturing sector.
Since my primary goal is to secure stable housing and become independent via work, I will, after receiving my NIMS CNC credentials, be pursuing a career in CNC.
Since OSHA work rules require manufacturing workers to wear steel – toed boots, it is essential that I acquire a pair in order to ensure my safety.
I am asking you to donate any amount you can towards the purchase of a pair of work boots for me so I can be successful in my training and my future manufacturing job. Thank you !
