Overview

I am currently pregnant and going through a difficult time in my life. I am eight months pregnant and unfortunately, my apartment got in a fire and my family and I lost EVERYTHING!

My goals are to try and get my life back together so when I give birth to my daughter she has a stable home like we once had.

I need any type of furniture so I can rebuild again my home, my daughter's nursery room because everything we had established, was all lost due to the fire.

Meeting this need will help me because it will provide a home again for my newborn and the rest of my family. The funds raised will truly help my family rebuild as we work to find a new home and continue to prepare for our baby. It will truly impact our lives and it will give us a chance to get back on our feet and continue living our lives.

Sarah started coaching back in 2015 with one of our Housing and Financial Coach at Center for Changing Lives. Right after she continued coaching meetings, the client was able to join Twin Accounts a financial product to build credit. She continues to work on her main goal to become a Homeowner one day and is motivated to build her credit since that is part of the foundation for her big step. Even as a student she has faced many challenges (student loan, housing, income, homework, task, internships, etc. etc.) but her focus has been to maintain her financial health for basic things like renting an apartment here in Chicago. Her journey is not done yet and with ups and downs Sarah will reach out her main goal as she is very determined no matter what. It would be great seeing her obtain this help.
