Overview
I am a 27 year old male cook at a restaurant in New York City. I've am hoping to find a better employment opportunity with more pay, so I can take care of my financial responsibilities.
My goals are eventually finding my own apartment. Currently I am living with my sister, her husband, their children, and my mother in my sisters' apartment. I lost my apartment and am working towards building my finances to move out. I sleep on an old living room couch used by the entire family, though my mother has offered to let me stay in her 1-BR until I can find my own place.
I need an air mattress, to give me my own place to sleep and relieve my family members and myself the embarrassment of not having anywhere to sit when they want to watch TV. It will also be helpful when I move to my mother's 1-BR.
Meeting this need will help me because I will not feel embarrassed and guilty all the time. I feel bad whenever I need to get up after working late at night. Since it is not my own place, I have to be respectful and give up the couch when anyone needs to sit and watch television of just come in the living room.

I have known Anth for about 1 year and during his time here at probation he has not missed one single day and has attends his programs regularly. Anth has a genuine commitment to work. He always exhibits a positive attitude and talks about his future. He desires to save his money and eventually have his own apartment. While Anth is a proud man he does understand that sometimes it is okay to ask for help. The money received would go a long way to making sure that he lives comfortably.
