Anthony from Queens, NY

First time father, building a life from a shelter. I need a baby carrier!

I want to build a life as I think no baby should be raised in a shelter system. As I travel the city, a baby carrier will make a big difference.

Overview

I am a 36 year old man and a first time father. I am rebuilding my life as I focus on my new family and to be the best provider and caregiver while working on providing my family with the stability I didn't grow up with.

My goals are to get fulltime employment to get my family out of the shelter and into our own home. My ambition is my child and I believe that no child should be raised in a shelter system. Now that I'm responsible for my daughter's life, she has given me a purpose to be more.

As we live in a shelter, we need a baby carrier to take my daughter around the city.

Meeting this need will help me because my priority is my daughter. She didn't ask to be here and while I'm working on bettering myself I still want to make sure she is properly cared for and any assistance is greatly appreciated. I am not the man I used to be. Becoming a father has given me motivation and I will not let my child down.
