Overview
I am a 44 year old single mother of five and a fistula survivor. I got the fistula from giving birth and lived with it, leaking, for five years until I had it repaired recently. I have supported my children alone with my small business buying and selling chickens.
My goals are to grow my business by planting maize and raising cows. This way I can earn more and afford to send my children to school.
I need $250 to buy maize seeds and a cow. Before, when I had a fistula, I could not do the labor required to have the business I wanted, but now I am healed and ready to earn.
Meeting this need will help me because I am eager to support my family - I would do anything for my children. Once I have maize seeds and a cow I will have many new ways of earning money for their school fees and for food.
