Overview
I am a 24 year old mother of two and a fistula survivor. My childbirth was difficult and left me leaking and in pain. Eventually I had surgery and now the fistula is repaired.
My goals are to breed chickens and sell chicks. I already know how to care for chickens, and now I have completed a business skills training with an organization called Beyond Fistula. I want to use what I learned to make my skill into a business and earn income for my children.
I need $250 to buy eggs, chicken food, and supplies for a coop. I will keep my chickens healthy and breed them to sustain egg and chick sales, as well as using the eggs for food.
Meeting this need will help me because I have two children to provide for. I already have skills with caring for and breeding chickens, and many people in my community will pay for chicks. I just need the money to start. I want to afford to feed my children and pay their school fees.
