Dorica: "I thank you" Feb 16, 2021

Hello am Dorica. I thank you for your kindness to me. Now since this I can work and afford school fees and food for my children. God bless you. God bless your good heart. Thank you.

Overview

I am a 21 year old single mother of two. The second birth left me with a fistula that was painful and made life even more difficult, almost impossible. I had surgery this year and now I am healed.

My goals are to have a business selling clothing and some land to raise my children on. I have completed a business training with an organization called Beyond Fistula.

I need $500 to purchase fabric for my clothing business and get it off the ground. I will also use this to buy some land to live on with my children.

Meeting this need will help me because I am finally free of my fistula and I have completed a business skills training, so all that stands between me and a better future is supplies to get started.

Dorica's story is heartbreaking but she is absolutely resilient. Seeing her go through fistula recovery and complete our business skills training has shown me how committed she is to being a good mother and providing for her kids - despite not having that herself. We will be following up with her progress moving forward. I have high hopes for her life.
