Overview
I come from a poor, disadvantaged family and was born in a small village in a small rural community. I dropped out of high school because my parents were not able to cover my school-related expenses.
I thankfully was able to get admitted into a certificate program in Building and Construction.
My goal is to become a skilled construction worker. There is a steady demand for skilled construction workers in my community. I will be able to secure a job after I graduate.
I need help with covering my college tuition and transportation costs for the Spring 2021 semester. This will help me get to my classes and my building and construction internship. My attendance at the course lectures and this internship are required for graduation.
These funds will ensure that I stay in college, meet the graduation requirements. This internship will also help me gain essential and much-needed hands-on experience.
With this certificate and experience, I will be able to find a job and become self-sufficient.

Stephen comes from a disadvantaged family and has worked extremely hard to get to where he is now. Develop Africa has helped cover some of his tuition expenses over the past year. It would be wonderful if we could help him advance his education.
