Overview
I’m a good student who lost my parents when I was very young. I have since been raised by my grandmother and uncle in an impoverished neighborhood with no electricity or indoor running water. Despite my early personal tragedy and current challenges, I’ve succeeded in graduating from high school. Now I need to take the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination necessary to be able to apply for college.
I want to take my WASSCE exam, and then go to college to become a lawyer. This will take me one step towards lifting myself and my family out of poverty. As a lawyer, I can also help other impoverished people in my community.
I need help with the costs of my WASSCE textbooks, lesson fees and exam fee. I also need help with the application fees for college. And, I need a personal laptop for school.
I need to pass the WASSCE exam as part of the college application. I need to pay the college application fees before I will be accepted. And, I need a laptop to help me study for my WASSCE as well as for when I start college classes soon.
