I am a mother of five that is looking to re-enter the workforce after taking time off to raise my children.

My goals are to re-enter the workforce in my former capacity as a Restaurant Manager and hopefully run my own Food Truck.

I need to renew my ServSafe Certification in order to be competitive in the job market and gain suitable employment.

Meeting this need will help me because it will allow me the opportunity to be more self-sufficient and work toward my goal of running my own food truck. This ServSafe Certification will provide the tools needed to gaining sustainable employment and help me set a positive example for my children. I want them to reach their dreams!

I am Ms. Mitchell's Job Readiness Instructor. Throughout the course, Ms. Mitchell demonstrated great commitment and promise. She had perfect attendance throughout the program, and I personally witnessed her change her attitude about being a stay-at-home mother. Where she started the class stating her status with apprehension and apology, she ended the class by acknowledging that her stay-at-home mother title gave her a competitive edge in job searching. I can't be more proud of Ms. Mitchell! By the way, we've tasted her cooking and look forward to the day that she opens that food truck!
