I am currently housed after being homeless. I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to this site and each individual who supported my need. It has been a very cold winter even without the snow and I am humbled by the generosity of my donors every time I am able to key inside of a warm home - my home. I thank you and can't say it enough.
Overview
I am a 47 year old African American male and father of three. I am also currently homeless. I am working with Southwest Housing Solutions that has assisted me with finding a place.
My goals are to obtain stable housing.
I need assistance with a security deposit. The program that I am working with will pay first month's rent and up to two months after that, or until you are stable with employment. However, it will not assist with security deposit.
Meeting this need will help me because having a home will allow me and my three sons independence.

I met Mr. Quick when he came into the office seeking assistance with first months rent and security deposit. Mr. Quick has three sons and is trying to obtain stable housing. Any assistance given to Mr. Quick will not only help him but his children as well.
