Overview
I am 54 year-old mother. I was in a violent relationship for 23 years and I am trying to start over for my 15 year old daughter and myself.
I have been in recovery for 2 years and my goal is to stay focused on staying healthy and providing for my daughter.
I need essential home furnishings: a dining room table set and dresser for my daughter's room.
I am on a fixed income and my funds are currently going towards rent, utilities and other necessary monthly expenses. We currently have no place to sit and eat in our new apartment. When my daughter and I are able to sit down at our new dining room table together it will really start to feel more like a family again. A place to eat and place for my daughter to put her clothes will make all the difference in this difficult transition.
