My job is a Home Visitor . My work involves providing support to parents caring for their new additions of their family. I do this by assessing and teach parents of social and emotional development, physical development, brain development, basic care, cues and communication, and play stimulation learning. I encourage parents to create healthy bonds with their children as parents work through the trauma of their past in efforts to prevent a cycle of trauma in families.

What I like about my job is watching families achieve goal and become parents that they have dreamed of being. I love watching families create a better life for themselves and their families by growing a positive supportive network.
