I am the Clinical Case Manager at Survivors of Torture International. My work involves providing community referrals and linkage to community services to individuals who have suffered torture in their home country and are seeking asylum. My goal is to support our clients in becoming self sufficient and confident as they adapt to the U.S. culture.
What I like the most about my job is when our clients share the steps they have taken toward healing and becoming self sufficient. I truly enjoy working with survivors of torture who endure severe trauma, yet demonstrate resiliency and hope for a better life.
