I have been working at Infant Welfare Society of Evanston since February 13, 2012. My job is Family Support Specialist - I go into the family's home and work with them on goals for their family. As part of achieving their goals they may need services beyond what our organization may offer. At that point, I would refer them to the organization that could help them achieve their goals. I also provide information about child development and work together with the parents as a team to prepare the children for their first experience in school. I love my job! My favorite part is working with the different families; I enjoy helping the families plan for their future and it makes me really happy to help them achieve their goals.
