I am a single mother of 3, trying to get off government assistance and cannot afford to take the state exam. My children range in age from 15,9 & 7 yrs. old. I am trying to complete my state exam so that I can move forward in my educational endeavors to become a Registered Nurse. I have been working in homecare since I was 18 yrs. old. I am 34 yrs. old now. My Nurse Aide license expired in 2010 when to the agency I worked for went out of business two weeks before my re-certification process. Since then things have become really tough just trying to make ends meet and make sure my children are cared for properly.
