My job title is Volunteer Program Manager, which is doing everything that needs to be done.
My work involves assisting our guests with Housing First, getting them linked with other programs, agencies or referrals so they can look to their futures. I also coordinate our volunteers in our center & supervise our bag lunch program during the week for our guests.
What I like about my job is seeing the successes of our guests & knowing we had a part in helping them with information, referrals, & linkages that we could provide them through our center.
I've been helping our guests for over 12 years here & making a difference to just one person, let alone many others, is the mustard seed of life that keeps me doing what I do.
