Raven from North Chicago, IL

Student living with dyslexia. Help me purchase an iPad to make learning easier.

I have dyslexia and find reading very difficult. An iPad mini will enable me to read and study as I complete my education.

My need and situation

I am a student at YouthBuild. I am 20 years old and trying to get my high school diploma. I have dyslexia and find reading very difficult. I would really appreciate an iPad mini which will help me to read.

My goals is to work in fashion, because "fashion is my passion!" I would like to design clothes or maybe become an aesthetician and do make-up and facials. I like caring for people.

I have dyslexia and find reading very difficult. I would really appreciate an iPad mini which will help me to read.

Meeting this need will help me because I need to graduate from high school so that I can have more opportunities to get a job and go to school for fashion and aesthetics.

I have been working with Raven here at YouthBuild. She is sweet and ambitious, but her dyslexia makes it difficult for her to learn. She could really use an iPad mini as it has Text to Speech recognition. It would be great to see her receive this help.
